Main Post: How do Pay lakes work?

Top Comment: I would pay a lot to know where to find wild, unfished for carp. If your have this available, use it while you can.

[Spoilers Act2Ep6] Did Vi pay Jericho for the fish?

Main Post:

Was that the bill he gave them and they just walked away? Also anyone notice the same logo on the bill matched the logo on the door sliding opening part of the person selling Vi the potions?

Top Comment: I think it was more like, good to see an old friend that just got out of prison, so you can eat for free on the house, don't worry about it, type of situation.

Alaska fish processing jobs. Where they pay you best?

Main Post:

Hello,

Does anyone have experience working in fish processing industry in Alaska (summers)?

Is it Leader Creek Fisheries or Silver Bay Seafood that pays better?

I’m a foreigner looking to work hard and earn big money.

Top Comment:

You’re the dude who posted a few days back about how to immigrate to Alaska from Europe and deleted the post 😂

There are many fisheries, if you need to know who pays better ask them. You don’t even have a visa, and you can’t work on ESTA.

And you’re way late for this summer already. Takes at least 2 months to clear a work visa, background checks and all. Do you even know you’re eligible for a work visa and working in the state? Fisheries have plenty of applicants from inside the US. Do you have special skills that US applicants don’t?

Why aren't I receiving my payment for legendary fish?

Main Post:

I sent off my first legendary fish, 24 hours later received payment no problem. Since then I've caught, and sent, another 4 or so fish, continued playing to pass way more than 24 hours and still received no payment. Anybody else had the same problem? Thanks :)

How much did you pay for your prawns today?

Main Post:

I used to brave the trip into the fish markets on Christmas Eve and from memory, the prices weren't ridiculous. Last year I went to a seafood shop at Hornsby and although the prices were higher than normal, it wasn't too bad and they tasted great so I figured that would be the go from now on. But today I paid $45 a kilo for tigers. The butcher next door said they were charging $32 last week.

What do you think - supply and demand or gouging? What did you pay today? Anyone buy from the markets and if so, what did you buy and what did you pay?

Top Comment: Got jumbo cooked tigers for $45/kg at the fish markets. Yeah it's higher than usual, but I suspect it's simple supply and demand as everyone wants prawns on Christmas.
